Marit van Dijk (1993) is a heritage professional and social geographer. Afterwards she was offered a scholarship from the VSBfund to obtain a MA in Geography: Cities, Space and Culture at University College Cork in Ireland. She graduated with First Class Honours with a thesis on the influence of street names and statues in public space on the collective memory.
