What I enjoy most about curation is the social practice of introducing people, organisations and artistic practice to each other.

Currently I’m the curator of the AIR program at the Reinwardt Academy for cultural heritage. During the Artist In Residence 2019 anthropologist Vyjayanthi rao did research in Amsterdam at the Marineterrein and the Bijlmer area to look at the exchanges between urban development and artistic interventions. The publication about this AIR is freely accesible online.

In the spring of 2022 a new AIR programme wil start, called The School of Unlearning. This interdisciplinary programme - offered to and created by members of all faculties of the Amsterdam University of the Arts - questions and researchers what we need to unlearn in order to create the art that the world needs right now.
