Veganism

As a vegan I try to connect my moral beliefs with my skills as much as I can. From 2019 till 2021 I was chief editor of VEGAN Magazine, a magazine that is published every three months by the Dutch Vegan Society. This is a volunteer job, which I took very seriously. I managed a group of over 50 volunteers − writers, illustrators, editors, photographers and many others − with whom I co-created a magazine with a purpose.

Veganism is still an important part of both my professionals and my personal life. My current focus lies with the visibility of non-human animals in history and the represenation thereof in museums, heritage and contemporary arts.
